Changes to the RoW Network

Surrey Heath Ramblers (SHR) review and comment on changes to the Rights of Way (RoW) Network in Surrey Heath, including permanent or temporary Orders to re-route or even close footpaths and bridleways. This typically involves the following, to allow SHR to continue to have an influence on changes in Surrey that may impact on the RoW network to ensure that footpaths and bridleway are kept open to walkers.

• Research on the history and current usage of the RoW from a walker’s perspective
• Consulting with Surrey Heath Borough Council to review the impact on the RoW
• Reviewing land purchase orders where there may be an impact on the RoW network.
